To insert an image, click the Insert Image button on the Insert and Design Toolbar. This will open the asset manager.
You can select an image from your File Archive or upload a new image from an external source, e.g. your hard drive. To add the image, click the Insert button below the image.
Set Image Properties:
In the Insert Image Element window, you can add or change the following properties of the Image:
Alt. Image Text
Add a pop-up text (mouse over text) to your image
Image width
Set image width. Note - To ensure you keep the right proportions of the image when editing the size, keep either the image width or image height blank.
Image height
Set image height
Image Border
Add a border to the image
CSS Properties
Modify additional image properties using CSS coding.
Remember that, when resizing an image on the Authoring Tool page, if you hold the <shift> key while dragging the handle, the size will be constrained.
